1. Troy Kingi, Mara TK Mark Vanilau
L(())VE HOPE are a new musical collaboration by three gifted purveyors of soul music, Mark Vanilau, Mara TK, and Troy Kingi, and will be playing at Crab Farm Winery tonight from 6pm tonight. 2. Made In Wairoa Farmers Market
Made In Wairoa is a place where Wairoa produce growers, artisan producers and artists can sell their wares directly to the consumer. It is held today at De Luxe Car Park, 3-13 Bridge St, Wairoa, from 8:30am-12pm.
3. Vine to Barrel – Your Harvest Experience!
Start the day by joining our viticulturist Jon in our Te Awanga Vineyard overlooking the Pacific Ocean and the iconic Cape Kidnappers to harvest your own 2017 Single Vineyard Reserve Chardonnay followed by a special dining experience in the Elephant Hill Restaurant created by head chef Ashley.

4. Arthur Miller School Movie Night – Zootopia
Come and join in the fun of Arthur Miller School’s family movie night tonight. Gates open from 5pm and the movie will screen at about 8.15pm. There are only door sales and it costs $10 for an adult, $5 for a child and $30 for a family pass (2 adults, 4 children). 5. Takapau Community Market
Lots of new and used goods, beautiful greenstone pendants also in crystal, jewellery, rough and polished crystals, lots of good quality bric-a-brac, toys and children’s clothes, household goods, plants and knitting will be on display at the Takapau Town Hall, 37 Charlotte St, Takapau, Central Hawke’s Bay, today from 9am-1pm. 6. Wheels On Windsor Car Show
A great show ‘n’ shine day, enjoyed by all – bring your vehicle or just come and enjoy what rolls into the park. Today at 2pm meet at Windsor Park (Grove Rd) for a drive and tour through Beacham Jaguar restoration facility, concluding with a dinner at a local restaurant. On Sunday from 9am-3pm will be the Wheels on Windsor Show day with $5 per display vehicle and a gold coin from spectators. The prizegiving will be at 2pm. 7. Summer Sessions at Abbey Cellars Winery Brewpub
Kick back and relax and listen to the chilled sounds of local talents while sipping away on some of our boutique wines and beers in the vines at 1769 Maraekakaho Rd, Hastings. Professor Dynamite The Banditos with Willie D and Margot on the vocals and guitar will be playing throughout the day from 12.30pm-3.30pm. 8. Horse of The Year
The annual Horse of the Year show is New Zealand’s premier equestrian competition, featuring a range of horse and rider combinations from multiple disciplines. Tomorrow is finals day from 8am with the prestigious Olympic Cup up for grabs. The event is held at the Hawke’s Bay A and P Showgrounds and tickets can be purchased at the gate with adults at $28, children $10, seniors and students $17 and family (two adults, two children) $64.
